An affordable, pre-booked spot in Tahoe during the summer?? Join us on the west shore of Lake Tahoe for four days, Monday-Thursday (leaving Friday to avoid the crowds and traffic) or extend your stay. The group sites are not too far from the beach. Visit the historic mansion nearby. Dry camping. Individual sites for rigs less than 32 feet. We’ll have ‘circles’ of group sites at “General Creek Group Camp”.

This is BEAR COUNTRY so you MUST pack all food and toiletries in plastic bins and keep them in the bear boxes at all times! No exceptions. Dogs must be on leash and with you at all times. You need to be aware of good human conduct in bear country!

Price: 2025 price $170 for 4 nights plus the hosting fee, collected up front.

We have approximately 22 sites in the group sites. If the group sites are full, or you would like to stay longer than the four days reserved for the group, just select a nearby site shown on this map, book the site through ReserveCalifornia.com and register on this page for Day Use.

The group site for 2026 will be marked on the map when booked. Below shows the 2025 booking.
