August 10-13, 2026 – MacKerricher State Park, Fort Bragg CA — NEW LOCATION!

Location: MacKerricher State Park, three miles north of Fort Bragg, CA.
24100 Mackerricher Park Road, Fort Bragg, CA 95437

Enjoy the majesty of the Pacific Coast in a dog-friendly park. A wheelchair accessible boardwalk weaves 1.2 miles along the bluffs (dogs allowed), a beautiful beach (dogs allowed!) and even stairs down to the tide pools (dogs prohibited.) “MacKerricher State Park offers a variety of habitats; beach, bluff, headland, dune, forest and wetland. More than 90 species of birds visit or live near Cleone Lake, a formal tidal lagoon. During winter and spring the nearby headland provides a good lookout for whale watching. The park is popular with hikers, joggers, equestrians and bicyclists. Fishing is also popular, with trout in two fresh-water lakes.”

This is a dry camping event but any rig less than 35 feet can be accommodated. There will be either our club’s large tent and/or pop-ups for gathering regardless of the weather.

Pet Policy: Pets must be on a leash or penned at all times when outside and must be picked up after. Dogs and other pets must not be a threat or a nuisance to other park users. Excessive barking is not allowed. Dogs ON LEASH are allowed on roadways, the beach and the boardwalk but NOT at the tide pools.

Non-Member Guest Policy: Send a signed Liability Waiver for each GUEST to the host.

CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations will incur a minimum of a $10 FreeWheeler charge to cover the cost of credit card fees and other expenses. The hosting fee of $2 per person is non-refundable. Cancellations after the campground’s deadline will be less the FreeWheelers cancellation fee, the $2 per person hosting fee, and the fees required by the campground. Refunds will be given promptly.
