Location: Clear Lake State Park, 3.5 miles northeast of Kelseyville on Soda Bay Road, north of Calistoga in the wine country.
Join us on the shores of Clear Lake for a State Park rally Tuesday May 27th, Wednesday May 28th, and Thursday, May 29th, leaving Friday May 30th. Walk your dogs along the flat boardwalk that circles a fishing pond and slough and — NEW THIS YEAR – end up at a private lake-side spot to relax, picnic, and watch the view. We have direct access to a little beach. Walk the splendid trails leading uphill to a vista point. The swimming beach is just down the street. Dry camping. Room for rigs of any size less than 35 feet. Cabins adjacent and individual campsites – many lakeside – nearby.

- Kelsey Creek Campground (in the park) offers lake-side, individual sites. Other campgrounds are in the park.

- Serene dog-walking path along the slough
- Hiking and biking trails within the park.
- The Indian Nature Trail is a moderate half-mile self-guided trail that shows how the Pomo people utilized the area’s resources. The trail passes through the site of what was once a Pomo village.
- The Dorn Trail is a guided interpretative 2.5-mile trail, which allows hikers to witness the natural features of the park.
- The Kelsey Creek Trail is an accessible trail which highlights the waterfowl that inhabit Kelsey Slough.

- Visitors may also enjoy the Visitor Center with displays that focus on the area’s natural and cultural history, an aquarium exhibiting some of the lake’s fish species.

Pets: Dogs allowed in campground and paved roadway. Dogs not allowed on trails or at the beach.

Non-Member Guest Policy: Send a signed Liability Waiver for each GUEST to the host.
CANCELLATION POLICY: The FreeWheelers club is responsible for the entire campground group site cost regardless of the number of campers so we will have a NO REFUNDS policy for this event. As usual, the $2 per person hosting fee is non-refundable.
Covid Policy: We request that any members feeling ill or showing signs of illness please mask at all indoor functions.
*Watersports and swimming may be available subject to water quality reports at the time of the outing. Clear Lake has had problems with toxic blue-green algae in the past, so be sure to check this website before swimming or allowing your dog to enter the water: https://mywaterquality.ca.gov/
