Tehama county lies midway between Sacramento and the Oregon border and offers the ultimate in healthful, leisurely living.  It is a central point of widespread recreational areas which provide hiking, camping, horseback riding, bicycling, boating, and fishing.  Tehama county is also the heart of Western heritage.  The City of Red Bluff hosts some of the best western events in the state including the Red Bluff Round Up Rodeo.  Red Bluff will be gearing up for this annual event the week of our outing so please bring your best cowgirl outfits and prepare to have a fun filled weekend.

April is national poetry month.  If you want to share some of your poetry, please meet in the clubhouse after dinner Friday evening.
We have a very exciting presentation in the works for Saturday after breakfast.  If you are interested in the history of the local area or our local State parks you will not want to miss this.   Jack Frost (not the snowman) will be here to delight us with his immense knowledge of history and Chinese traditions.
If History is not your interest, then there are plenty of other exciting things to do and explore in the local area.  A few of those may include visiting the local art galleries, antique shops, museums, parks, casinos, pumpkin land or Lassen National Park.  You may also wish to visit with old and new friends, just relax, or play games in the clubhouse.  The choice is yours.

Our guest this year is my grandmother who is turning 94 years young.  You will most likely find her putting a puzzle together and making new friends in the clubhouse.  For those staying Sunday night, we have arranged to have dinner at the best Mexican restaurant in town. Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant located at 860 Main St. Red Bluff, Ca.  96080.
Please come help us celebrate and enjoy some tasty food.  I’ll get a tally at the event for those interested in joining us.

Site numbers and the agenda will be sent out once registration closes.
