Tribute to Beverly Hiltachk, Board Member 2010 – 2013
By Casper Nordahl
Beverly was a wonderful lady who will be sorely missed by her family and the FreeWheelers. Beverly was born in Rochester, NY on March 16, 1938 and went home to be with the Lord on April 14, 2013 in Woodland, CA. Beverly was a person with dedication to detail, loved everyone, was absolutely wonderfully crazy, was very loyal to her friends. She had a “have a good time” spirit, she could be very adventurous when it came to her RV! She always said “take the rural route”, “stay off of the freeways of life, nothing exciting happens there, it’s on the road less taken”. She believed in community spirit and was very proud to live in Woodland, CA. She was proud to be a FreeWheeler and loved nothing more than serving up root beer floats at all the FreeWheeler outings and enjoying people’s companionship with one another. She could not pass up a Cracker Barrel no matter how many she had already been to that day! Her dry sense of humor was like no one else’s. She loved life and believed in living every day to the fullest. She was devoted to her family, and her dog, Kiki. We have all been blessed by Beverly’s presence in our lives. She will be missed so much, by so many.
