Host: Connie Mart
Location: Olema RV Resort and Campground
Since the convention is at the end of October it’s a bit difficult to estimate how many will attend the October outing. We need you to sign up early for this event since the park requires a 50% deposit. Changes and cancellations will be accepted up to the September 1st deadline without a charge. After September 1st there will be cancellation charges.Since the convention is at the end of the month I went low with the reserved spaces. They do have additional available at this time if needed. Please get your reservations in asap so we can secure additional spaces if needed.
I reserved spaces in Dogwood, Ironwood, Bay and Holly. These are water and electric only. There are full hookups available up close to the store - let me know if you would need one of them. We have the clubhouse to ourselves.
Cost is $31 per night for Friday through Sunday nights, and $34 for Thursday night since it is still September and considered “in season.” There are no additional costs.
Please let me know as soon as possible if you plan to attend. Send payment, along with a registration form, to me -- when you let me know by email that you plan to attend I will send my mailing address.
A little about Olema campground: the campground itself is on 30 wooded acres. It is a short distance from Point Reyes National Park's Visitor Center and Bear Valley trailhead. There's a nice, easy trail called the earthquake trail that takes you along the sight of the 1906 earthquake and tells you about the unique geology of the Point Reyes peninsula. The small towns of Point Reyes Station and Inverness are also close by. I am not planning any special activities at this point so if you have any suggestions let me know. Thanks, Connie
